This page details the names, approved Certification Categories & Contact Details of all the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) approved Heavy Vehicle Certifying Engineers that are Members of the Heavy Vehicle Engineers, a Technical Interest Group of Engineering New Zealand

The Certifier Categories are:

• HVEA – Load Anchorages
• HVEC – Chassis Modifications & Repairs, Brake Modifications& PSV Roll Over Strength & Stability
• HVEK – Brakes (LTNZ Rule: 2007)
• HVEL – Log Bolster Attachments
• HVET – Towing Connections; Drawbeams, Drawbars, Towbars, 5th Wheel Assemblies & King pin Assemblies
• HVS1 & HVS2 – SRT Level 1 & 2

The Certifier ID is a LTNZ reference to the certifier & usually appears on certification nameplates & is recorded on all LT400 forms.
